Malaysia Day falls on 16th September every year to commemorate the establishment of the Malaysian federation on the same date in 1963. It marked the joining together of Malaya, North Borneo and Sarawak to form Malaysia.
This year’s Malaysia Day falls on Sunday, so the following Monday will be a replacement day. This means it will be another long weekend holiday ahead!
